a bit over the top. quick painting to test out a new textured brush plus some color dodge brush experiment. a good learning experience. although the pic needs a lot of work.

another one of my attempts at painting in corel painter. all that time spent tinkering with the brush settings finally paid off. i think. ..oh and i threw it in p.s. to paint a bit more

though it doesn't look like much. i think i had a breakthrough with this one. the lighting is a bit more "realistic" than my usual. all from the noggin.

i wish i learned more from l.c.d. 4 years ago. thanks to Macro Bucci, i am motivated to relearn what i should have learned. here's a quick study done after watching one of his tutorials. not quite there yet.
